We offer reliable, high-speed Internet services tailored to meet the unique needs of businesses.
From fast and secure connections to scalable bandwidth options, we ensure your team stays connected and productive.
When it comes to data, you demand quality in the form of high bandwidth and fast connections. We’re here to help you design, cost and implement connectivity solutions that meet your needs – regardless of whether you’re a business or a consumer – from straight-forward Internet access to complex multi-site resilient networking solutions with built-in data security.
As we have grown to be dependent on being connected to the rest of the world, every modern-day business is aware of how critical it is to have a reliable broadband connection.
Whether you’re in the area and need onsite support or require remote assistance, our flexible IT services are designed to meet your needs wherever you are.
The development of mobile technology and the increasing popularity of cloud-based backup and file storage can make your Broadband planning critical. Data connectivity and broadband services are at the heart of our business and we can develop a range of packages to support your mobile and fixed-line needs.
In this section we have given a summary of the different broadband line types to help with your research, to hopefully give you an initial idea of what solution will be best suited to the way your business operates. Before moving forward with any solutions; be sure to contact our connectivity team for further guidance to highlight what speeds you’ll need to achieve your daily business goals. Please note that the availability of certain line types and the speeds of connections vary greatly due to location.
ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) is a well-known and widely used older type of broadband internet connection. This type of broadband connection operates by utilising the copper wires that are already present in existing phone lines. Its primary applications are in residential broadband and in broadband for small companies. If your business line is based in a residential area then we can help upgrade your line to meet your business needs.
Fibre broadband is the go-to choice of connectivity for many because of its ability to provide download speeds of more than five times that of ADSL at a cost-effective price. With fibre optic cables as its core infrastructure, data can travel at speeds approaching light speed which makes it a good choice for small businesses or large households with lots of internet users who need super-fast download speeds at a cost-effective price.
Generic Ethernet Access, or GEA for short, is an entry-level form of Ethernet connectivity that harnesses copper technology between the premises and the cabinet and then fibre to the exchange, before handing data over to the Ethernet network. By utilising copper and fibre as the initial transit technology, costs and installation times are much lower than other Ethernet-based connectivity technologies, but can still achieve symmetrical speeds of 20Mbps.
This provides businesses with the benefits of Ethernet connectivity – reliability and higher synchronous bandwidth – at a lower cost and with reduced installation times. Depending on your customers’ requirements and their distance from the serving exchange, EFM uses between two and eight copper pairs to deliver data to our Ethernet network. And because it’s an uncontended service, your customers won’t have to share bandwidth with anyone else.
Often considered the pinnacle of connectivity solutions, leased lines offer fast upload and download speeds on an exclusive connection, enabling businesses to function at the speed that they want to. What’s more, a leased line isn’t synonymous with an Internet connection – it can be used to carry several different types of data traffic including phone calls and internal network traffic.
Often regarded as an entry-level solution – albeit one that’s available nationally – copper-based broadband is an essential part of any IP VPNs that are big for the business. Bringing together multiple sites – including remote workers – onto a single virtual private network is a big win in terms of data security, business continuity and operational efficiency.
