There are a number of ways to backup a small business’ data. At its most simple configuration (but not recommended), using an external hard drive to copy your files ensures that your data can be recovered should your device become inaccessible. Generally, we would recommend using a service such as Microsoft 365 to store all your valuable day-to-day data. You would then use a third-party service to backup your MS 365 data. This ensures that your data is recoverable should Microsoft have an issue with their service and your data be lost. You also have the choice to store data in central storage at your office- in this scenario, it would be advised to use a backup service to back up the central service.
